Online Student Scheduling
Students can log into your writing center at any time and on any day to make an appointment via WCOnline’s fast and secure Internet portal. Students are matched with an available tutor and a scheduled time is marked as reserved—all automatically, all online, and all under your direct supervision.

Online Tutor Scheduling
Tutors can log into the WCOnline system to view their schedules and their scheduled appointments. Tutors can also research who they are scheduled to work with and how they can best help that student. Finally, tutor schedules can be easily managed by you from an easy-to-understand administration control panel.

Secure Session Reporting
Tutors can log into their own control panel to research a student, enter a compressive report after meeting with a student, or to view a specific student’s contact information.

Secure Student Logging
Each and every student visit to your writing center is logged into the WCOnline system. As the administrator, you can easily see what your tutors worked on with a student, how many times a particular student has visited, and the contact information for any student (including such additional information as majors, email addresses, and student backgrounds).

Comprehensive Reporting
As the administrator, you can choose from a wide variety of reports that provide detailed analysis of center usage by day, hour, tutor, and student, reports on the background of the students that use your center, and reports that illustrate what students use your center and how often they come.

Custom reports can also be easily added and all reports can be instantly exported to Microsoft Word or Excel.

Off-site, Secure Record Storage
WCOnline is an Internet database based on a secure MySQL database structure. The software itself runs on dedicated, secure computer servers housed in high security facilities across the United States and Canada, and redundantly connected to the Internet. What this means for you is that your records are your records—-no one else can see them. It also means that you can access your records and schedule at any time and from any Internet-connected computer in the world. No special software or hardware is needed.

Complete Backups with Media
WCOnline automatically creates a backup of your data every time that your data is changed or updated. Furthermore, WCOnline subscriptions come with a complete record backup on CD-ROM every year. Should you ever decide to move away from WCOnline, we send you a complete printed account of all of your records, as well as a CD-ROM containing that same information.

Custom Designed Software
